Phelps County Center for the Performing Arts

A state-of-the-art performance center in Holdrege. Located on the campus of the Holdrege High School at 14^th and Tilden.

The Tassel provides seating for approximately 835 individuals.  Additional spaces include an orchestra pit, a 50 foot wide proscenium, two star dressing rooms, and a 52 foot fly space. There is also a sound room and lighting room in the 30,000 square foot facility.

Theater of the American West

Republican City is proud to offer tourists and residents a repertory dinner theater. The theater was established in 1991 as an additional attraction in the county and as a way to encourage professional tour companies to include Harlan County on their schedule. The Republican City Theater Board welcomes you to Harlan County and hope you enjoy the show!
